How to log Actions

Actions are manually logged information to help you stay up to date with your donor interactions.

To log an action on your desktop:

  • Click Contacts in the main navigation bar
  • Navigate to the contact you want to add an action to
  • Click the Action icon
  • Enter in the Action Type
    • Call
    • Email
    • Meet
    • Mail
    • Text
    • Other
  • Action Result
    • Complete
    • Left Message
    • Needs Followup
    • Call Back
    • Bad Info
    • Other
  • Enter in any other action information and click Save

Actions will now appear in the contact history timeline.

To log an action on your mobile device:

Actions can be manually logged in the same way as the desktop version. There are also some quick shortcuts.

  • Click Contacts in the main navigation bar
  • Navigate to the contact you want to add an action to
  • Click the call or text icon
  • Your own call/text system will automatically open (text messages will auto drop in your donation page web address)
  • An activity will be auto created that you sent a text or made a call. When you complete your activity you can make edits to the notes.
