FundHero allows users on the professional account to create multiple donation pages. Basic and Premium users can only create one. The process of editing and creating donation pages looks the exact same.

To edit a page:

• Click Donation Pages
• Select the page you would like to edit
• Click Edit Page

Banner Image

To ensure your donation page functions well and looks great on any device here are some recommendations:

• Image Dimensions: 660×300
• Image Layout: Landscape
• File types accepted: JPG or PNG

Following these guidelines will help your image to display at the highest quality in your donation page and on social media sites.

Within FundHero’s editor you can:

• Rotate the image
• Zoom in and out
• Delete

 

Title

This is the first thing donors will read on your donation page. Keep it short and simple and easy to identify your cause from.

 

Story

The story section can either be used as a way to give more details about your cause, or add any sort of legal disclaimer

 

Donation Tag

Donation Tags will help you keep donations from each page organized. You can utilize this to track best performing events, pages, or campaigns. You can learn more about tags here.

 

Donation Amounts

The preset amounts ($35, $75, $100, $250) were chosen after lots of testing. The are selected to increase the amounts donors give. You can however, customize your donation amounts to better fit your organization.

 

Set Max Donation Amount

Despite offering a max donation amount compliance is still up to you. You can learn more in our User Agreement.

The max donation amount works on an individual donation basis. If a donation above your limit is entered a notice pops up saying “The maximum donation for this cause has been set to [AMOUNT]”. Then donor can then re-enter the donation.

If adding the processing fee coverage would cause the donation total to be above the limit, the coverage fee does not appear. However, if the fee can be covered plus the donation and still be under the limit the coverage fee option will show.

 

Color Accent

Using hex colors you can change the donation page button colors to match your organization colors.

 

Recurring Donations

Please note, this feature is not available on basic accounts.

If you upgrade to premium, or professional you can turn the toggle switch on to begin accepting recurring donations.

 

Employer & Occupation Information

Some finance laws require Employer and Occupation information. Check in with your local finance office to find out your requirements. If it is required, turn the toggle switch on and a donor cannot complete their donation without providing this information.

 

Thank You Page

Once a donor completes their payment they receive a confirmation popup screen to notify them that their donation has been completed and to encourage them to share the donation page.

 

Receipt Email

To view your receipt email click the options button in the bottom right corner. There you can send yourself a sample email. This will be sent to the email you signed up with (can be edited on settings page).

Each time a donor makes a donation they will receive an automated receipt email.

FundHero shall not be deemed an agent of User in connection with User’s campaign finance or fundraising activities. FundHero makes no effort to ensure that contributions made through the Application are in accordance with applicable campaign finance or other laws. User has full and final responsibility for ensuring User’s own compliance.
